Concept Development
Born and raised in China, I grew up in a stressful educational environment, where we studied from dawn until late at night, with packed schedules and constant exams. The confined spaces and relentless pace often led me to escape into daydreams.
One drowsy afternoon, I had a hypoglycemic episode and ended up having a lucid dream, where I turned all my dreaded study materials into my favorite desserts and snacks.
With my project, Let Me Dream, I brought this youthful daydream to life. Using a combination of realistic and pixel styles, I invite viewers into a playful and imaginative world.
