Overview & Concept
Established in 2010, CoMotion is an annual student-led motion graphics conference at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
Space, Depth, The Nature System. In the beginning, there was only black and white—and the seed of life. We built an extensive visual language for CoMotion that expands beyond the limitations of a grid by incorporating both the beauty and structure of sacred geometry (Full version).

Responsibilities
As an animator, my main involvement was to develop the title sequence and student showcase title cards.
To work productively, I established a procedural system to execute line animation in Cinema4D. When the direction changed during the animation phase, I was also able to help the team achieve alternate designs and movements.
Furthermore, team collaboration is key to this student-led production. I proactively participated in communication, kept learning industry workflow, and provided feasible solutions for our directors and lead animators.

There are lots of repetitive line patterns in the title sequence. To achieve these patterns more efficiently, it would be great to explore a procedural approach. I developed a system based on Cloner + Tracer.
